“Houghton Drystone Walling was founded in 2008. Following in the tradition of my ancestors, Edward and Charles Houghton, stone masons in Bidford on Avon, Warwickshire, dating back to the 1800s.

I started drystone walling in 2008 and currently hold both DSWA and LANTRA Award Level 2 certifications.

I work mainly in the Cotswold area, but have also worked as far afield as Surrey and Dorset, so I have the facility to travel.

I have worked on various projects, gaining experience in repairs and the construction of new walls. Occasionally, I also subcontract to other drystone walling companies in the Cotswold area.

As well as drystone walls, I have experience in stone cladding with drystone effect.

I pride myself on attention to detail and punctuality. I deliver within budget and on time with projects, working alongside the client’s requirements.”
